In a Lonely Chair

Here I sit in this chair alone in a house with many rooms to spare.
My mind wanders and wonders why am I sitting there alone
I think of this girl I knew from around the way. Her smile was the world and her lips fed my soul.
Her touch thawed my heart.
She looked passed my simplicity and into the depths of the locked chambers of my heart.
She is gone
The friend I kissed on the forehead every night has left.
But here I sit in this chair….. Alone.
Why couldn’t I tell her I Love You?
My lips tremble at the thought of those words.
Because I mean it with all that is me.
As I sit in this lonely chair in this empty house.
My soul echoes for you to come back to me.
Not because I need you because I Love You
Everything that reminds me of you brings tears to my eyes.
Come back to me.
My beautiful guardian angel and save me from this lonely chair in this empty house.
